<p>This recent post in the Official Google blog on <a rel="nofollow" href="http://googleblog.blogspot.com/2009/01/more-computing-less-power.html">Data Center Efficiency</a> reports some pretty amazing numbers. Google&#8217;s &#8220;<a rel="nofollow" href="http://www.google.com/corporate/green/datacenters/">Sustainable Computing Website</a>&#8221; goes into more detail.</p>
<p>If you think I&#8217;m talking this up just because of my rant regarding their harmful practices on website owners, you&#8217;re only a little correct. I actually have <a rel="nofollow" href="http://greencollartech.org">a stake in Green IT</a> too and believe <a rel="nofollow" href="http://greencollartech.com/green-collar-worker-definition.htm">Green Collar Technology Workers</a> have had the greatest impact on reducing carbon emissions of any other workers on the planet.</p>
