So I poked around a bit at Yahoo!. Mostly trying to make sure we’re at least listed for the podcast and another client in Boston.
I haven’t done much keyword research for the podcast site so I just an searched a obscure term I knew we’d do well with, “technology podcast”. We came up 9th on the search homepage.
Then I went into “audio” results. Nothing is music but in “podcasts”, I struck gold.
Yahoo! now has us listed in their Yahoo! Search / audio / podcasts as the only podcast listed in the first 30 pages of results. We also currently own the “Other audio” category.
My point. Go get your listings optimized in Yahoo!
